華爾街日報》看到過的一份公司文件顯示﹐美國有關部門正在調查日本電子產品業巨頭松下電器產業公司(Panasonic Corp.)的一家子公司是否為攬到業務而在海外行賄。

松下電器在美國加州Lake Forest的子公司松下航空電子公司(Panasonic Avionics Corp.)的法務部已經指示該公司某些高管和員工保存可能與美國政府調查有關的文件。松下航空電子公司為航空公司生產飛機上使用的娛樂和通訊設備。....

這兩份通知是下發給松下在亞洲、歐洲和中東地區數十名高管和員工的﹐兩份通知都提到了美國1977年通過的《反海外腐敗法》(Foreign Corrupt Practices Act)。這一法律禁止美國公司和在美國上市的公司向外國政府官員行賄。

松下航空電子公司專門從事飛機用音樂和視頻娛樂設備、飛機用購物、電話服務、電子郵件、視頻遊戲和GPS航班定位顯示設備的生產。
